Peveril Castle Review
During a recent trip to Castleton, we visited three attractions for our family day out. Whilst there we did a visit to Peveril Castle for our review. Find out how we got on by reading on. To see our Peveril Castle Review, check out the video here
Castleton is a great little village to visit for a family day out. Whilst there we visited three places – Speedwell Cavern, Peak Cavern and then we made the most of our English Heritage Membership to visit Peveril Castle.
Peveril Castle is at the top of the hill in Castleton. As the castle is part of English Heritage, it did not actually costs us any extra to visit. However if you are paying it would normally cost £6.90 for adults and £3.90 for children – this includes a Gift Aid donation. The boys had a great time as they used thier imagination to play knights on the walk up to the Castle. Once at the top there are incredible views across the area. There is not loads to do at this attraction, but with some imagination and the open space as long as the weather is dry it is a great little place to visit whilst in Castleton.
